We open the cycle of spring festivals with the Festival of Crafts.
We invite professional craftspeople so the kids, schoolchildren, parents, teachers, and guests participate in various workshops, organized by professionals, amateurs, and students. The whole school community enjoys creating something and chatting in the school cafes with homemade cakes and other tasty food made by the parents and students. Besides one can visit the big school concerts, different students’ or parent’s performances, and sing and dance together welcoming the spring and its living forces.
Easter is a great mystery. The inner experience of gratitude, devotion, and sacrifice lies deep in our hearts. With these thoughts, children sow grains of oats or rye in pots together. These grains sprout even if they are not covered with soil. And then the child experiences a profound observation that can be recalled throughout his or her life: a young and tender sprout of new life is born from a shell peeling off and essentially dying.
At the end of the year, all classes prepare a big school concert for students and parents. A special touching moment of each year is the School Graduators Celebration. Every grade from 1 to 10 prepares something special for the school leavers so they remember their school path and carry the best and the sweetest memory of their childhood along all their lives.
